Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descendant is also her mother. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming from each of her parents' previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated to Victoria at the time of London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands and then Hill House. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school plays. She quit high school at 16 to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her to be an experienced model.
