Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and TV personality most well-known as presenter for The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Born in Arkansas she was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is the product of the midst of a difficult background. She was a lot of her life caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. As a child, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him being too close with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl was a soldier in the military. She was interested in comedy. She became the first woman to be a finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since the year 2011. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series including Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
