Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as one of the members of the group One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, and with his three classmates, formed a musical group dubbed White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in the 2010 Battle of Bands. He was always interested in music, but also wanted to pursue a career as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. A part-time job in a city bakery in his early occupation to earn money for the family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions to The X Factor. The reason for this was that his band broke up. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group began in 2010 and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which allowed them to become the leading contenders to win the contest. They were in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which took home the prize. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. But Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
