Emily Bett Rickards was born in July of 1991. She is an Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as Felicity on the CW's television show Arrow. Rickards is a British Columbia native. She began her acting career in the early years of her life by learning about musical theatre, dancing and other forms of entertainment. Her high school graduation was before her schedule and began studying at the Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. Following the completion of the course, she took part in an open-call audition, which led to a booking agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. It was initially a one-episode as a special guest, but thanks to the positive response from viewers and her sarcastic humor, she was quickly signed for a second season as a regular.
